A TRUE "CLASSIC CAR". and recognized as such by the CCCA.This Continental has its original V12 engine in fine running & driving condition.Comes with owners manual.Chrome is nice overall with a few spots on front bumper.Paint is nice and smooth (original factory yellow color) there are a few areas that have been touched up by previous owner through the years, but certainly nice enough to proudly drive and take to car shows.The design of the 1940's Lincoln Continental is considered to be one of the most beautiful American car designs of all time. The 1946, 1947, & 1948 were all quite low production as they were expensive luxury cars, and even more elusive in the Convertible version.As you can see it is a beautiful car and you will be proud to own & drive it. I have priced it very fairly and yes is was a national 1st place winner in the prestigious CCCA which would have probably made it $75,000+ today if it were still THAT perfect as it was, but now you have a beauty that can be bought and driven at about half that price. I have tried to price it to be a fair, good buy.ANDIt is a MOVIE CAR from one of top movies of all time "THE GODFATHER" and that should add value to the car. It was filmed in Long Beach, Long Island, NY.I have 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK from 16+ YEARS on EBAY, so you can bid with confidence that I am fair to deal with. I also have 100% SOLD record, as every car that I have collected and decided to sell through the years has been sold, very often with the Buy It Now, so please do consider the Buy It Now option if you know that you want the car.As with any old or vintage car I am selling it AS-IS WHERE-IS and always recommend that you come to see it in person if possible.
