2006 Chevy Impala LT - 3.5L V6 - 118,129 One Owner Miles New York Residents Please Know Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle Strong motor and tranny - no smoking, misfire, leakage, noises or slippage. Body and interior are clean. The car was parked under an oak tree (lots of acorns!) and upon very close examination you can see several very minute pock marks. No big deal. Tires and brakes are very good and pass NY State inspection (very slight pulsation in brake pedal upon a high speed brake application). We drove the car at highway speeds over 15 miles and the car is a nice runner. Tracks straight and very responsive steering. It will not pass NY State inspection due to a slight power steering rack leak. (In NY this is grounds for failure.) Though it drove really nice, my mechanic said it also needs fronts links and sway bar. The muffler, situated near the rear bumper, has a hole in it (makes a little noise). Air cleaner clips are broken and the air filter is not totally secured or sealed. No big deal! Slight wetness on a transmission cooling line. I am probably making mountains out of molehills since the car runs and drives great, but I try to describe my cars with as much accuracy as possible. Bid with confidence and drive it home. This car goes to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now! The Check Engine light has not been on, and is not on now, but there are no guarantees it will not come on down the road. We drove it a total of 20 miles - no problems! New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
