For sale is a clear PA titled 1975 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. This modified rock crawler/mud rig was part of a three vehicle project I purchased. The other two FJ40's have been sold. The original 2F engine is strong and starts reliably. It pulls, shifts and brakes as it should. Transmission and Selecto heavy duty hubs are operational. The transfer case has been restricted in low gear to prevent shifting out of low gear while crawling, according to the PO. Not being a rock crawler, I may remove this restriction prior to buyer's pick-up or shipper's arrival. The tub & frame are in excellent condition. The rear tub floor has been replaced with diamond plate and the front floor pans appear to have been reinforced. There is no body rust whatsoever on this rig. No fluid leaks of any kind have been observed. All gauges, mechanical pulls & front heater work. Corbeau Baja Ultra Seats with 3-point harnesses are in excellent condition, GM power steering conversion, new battery, RCI 216A 15 gallon natural aluminum auxillary fuel cell (original stock gas tank has been removed), new Bestop Bikini Black Vinyl Top (NIB), lift (hgt. & mfr. unknown), spare tire carrier w/ spare, custom full roll bar with front and rear grab bars and full width removable rear seat. I replaced the (4) Interco TLC Super Swamper tires & off-road wheels with a new set of (4) BF Goodrich 32 x 10.5 x15 AT's. The original Super Swamper tires & wheels are included in the sale. The Negatives: Front windshield glass was replaced with plexi-glass by the PO. There are a few dings to be expected. The paint is so-so. The power steering is too loose for my liking. I'm not sure what adjustment may need to be made, but the buyer should look into it. Please refer to the listing photos for conditon details. I will assist buyer or shipper at time of pick-up.
