For sale is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab 5.7L Hemi 4x4 Laramie w/ 79K. It appears this truck came from auction with flood damage. The title is not marked flood and just simply salvage. The vehicle is able to be started and loaded onto a transport. Floods can sometimes be a scary thing, but the good news is this truck does not appear to have been submerged or if it was not left that way long. There are no funny smells and most of the issues have been resolved. Someone that knows what they are doing this can be a great truck for them. We found a oil change sticker showing 79K and found a replacement cluster with like mileage on it to use it. The fun part: This truck is loaded out. Has the Laramie package which gives you a bunch of goodies. Has a factory billet grill, fog lights, chrome 20" rims, chrome body side moldings, OEM nerf bars, and a full size 20" spare. The drivetrain is the 5.7L Hemi with not odd noises and runs very smoothly. This is a 4x4 truck. The 4x4 engages and disengages properly. Just about all of the interior electronics function properly from dual power seats, all the heater a/c controls (dual zone hot/cold etc), exterior mirrors, power windows, windshield wipers, headlights, fog lights, interior lights, interior mirror, steering wheel audio controls, adjustable foot pedals, lighted vanity mirrors, etc. The only thing that does not function is the OEM radio amp. The radio does power on, but know sound comes out. The body is in pretty nice shape. There is some overspray on the front end, so probably was in an accident at one point of its life. Thus far we have replaced the engine computer, speedometer, keyed one gray key to the computer, replaced the throttle control sensor, and crank sensor. Things we know wrong: We know the front wheel sensor is throwing a code, the ABS module is not etched into the used computer causing the ABS / Brake light is illuminated because of those issues. There is a flashing lightning bolt on the lower right is on the cluster and the check engine light is for a barometric pressure out of range that may represent a faulty throttle body. We have put a few miles on it and currently cannot get it to shift from 3rd gear to the next gears. There is possibly a sensor that has to be replaced in order to allow the trans to shift properly and was not recalibrated after the ECM replacement and has a trans code that was stored and we cleared. The only issue we have not been able to pinpoint is it will start and idle first time, but any immediate crank after that it will not idle and die. If you let it sit for a few minutes it will run and idle properly first time. Here's the deal, the book on the truck is over $14,500. With a little time and some patience you can easily be into this truck at a very good price. We have include a lengthy video and a lot of pictures showing the condition of this truck.
