Vehicle Detail
For auction is an original 1929 Henry Ford steel Roadster that was built and raced at the dry lakes by Don Raible in Pasadena, California in 1947. Don was a member of The Pasadena Pacers Hot Rod Club in the 1940's. It is basically untouched from the way that Don built the car in the 1940's with it's very rare (and expensive) 1932 Auburn dashboard, early dropped beam axle, louvered hood, etc. Although it is a very rusty project car, it is certainly repairable with most parts included to rebuild her to her former SoCal glory. Included is new Brookville subrails, quarters (for patching), cowl patches, new body wood, 1940 flathead block and crank, 1940 side shift transmission, etc. It does come with a clear 1929 roadster title. Although a big project, Original Southern California Hot Rods from the 1940's with undisputable pedigreed history don't come around very often, and when they do, they're very expensive. Here's a chance to aquire a historic hot rod that could be a six figure car once restored at a very reasonable price.
