This is a super neat 1953 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 3100 five window truck. This will make someone a great little run around town or shop truck. It is a pleasure to drive and very dependable. It has a 327 V8 backed by a 3 speed automatic transmission. It has been equipped with what appears to be a early 70's Nova front end, power steering, and power drum brakes (which are some of the best stopping brakes on any old vehicle we have had), The front is very tight and drives straight down the road. On the inside it has a custom built seat for this truck which makes it very comfortable to drive. I am 6 feet tall and I have plenty of room and very comfortable driving it. It has new rebuilt factory style gauges. The speedometer reads correctly, gas gauge works, voltage gauge works. The temp gauge does not work. The sending unit that comes off of the back of the gauge is not long enough to reach the hole in the head. It also has a brand new CD player but it is not hooked up. Door panels are nice, carpet is in good condition, has a nice custom covered headliner, factory style rearview mirror, custom steering wheel....It is also equipped with Vintage Air A/C and heat. Only thing non functioning are the wipers. There is no motor or mechanism behind the dash. I applied Rain X and have driven in the rain with no issues. The paint on the vehicle is an older paint job. It has nicks and scratches from normal use and shows some signs of age. Still has a good shine to it though. To be a show quality vehicle in needs a paint job, but as it sits it is perfectly acceptable for a driver. The truck's body is solid as are the floors. Does not look to be any hidden rust areas or spots to be concerned about. It has brand new Vintique Wheels (16" in back and 15" in front) with new caps and rings wrapped in brand new tires. The bed has been equipped with heavy duty diamond plate and then Rhino-lined so you can actually use it. We have been driving this truck around locally for a while and have enjoyed every minute of it. Even on the coldest days pump the gas twice and hit the key. You will not be disappointed with the functionality of this truck. Please review all of the pictures and ask any questions that you might.
