Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE!!! I bought this car in 2002. one of the biggest American engines ever made! LOW MILES. I took great care of it and LOVED it. BUT, I bought a huge Mastiff dog a couple years later. The dog was too darn big to fit in any other car, so the pink ELDO became the dog's traveling car. 10 years later I got married. Then we started having kids. Suddenly, my passion for my pink caddy slowly (unintentionally) subsided. We bought a house. The wife needed a garage space for her car too. WHAT? She won. The pink caddy had to sit on the driveway. The convertible roof stayed topless one day (got stuck)...and I got lazy...priorities changed. I am ashamed: I allowed the caddy's interior to get baked by the sun for a year straight. Also got rained on. Neighbors felt horrible and put a car cover on it. But it was too late...damage was done. The interior is all beat up. Weathered. BUT, the rest of the car is fine. A couple cracks in the plastic parts here and there, but the car runs fine and can be driven wherever you want to take it. I now have TWO huge mastiffs, so this is the "dog beach TAXI"...sad but true. So, if you're looking to buy a 1975 PINK ElDorado with a great engine that will allow you to cruise from A to B, this car will do it for you. Again, I allowed the interior to get ruined. I am ashamed. And I am horribly depressed to be selling it, but I'm buying a beautiful 1975 (like new). I'm back! ...this car has a professionally installed stereo that cost me A LOT!... The car floats down the road like a yacht...no better feeling driving on the freeway. Smooth sailing. Coolest car on the road. Come check it out. I have the ph # to a good Cadillac guy who can fix up the interior for a good price. You 'can' find anyone to fix the interior, But you 'cant' find a 1975 pink caddy eldo with only "93291 miles"...again, I'm ashamed I allowed the interior to get ruined (my theory was "the dogs already ruined it")...best car ever made. VIN # 6L67S50270855 ~ Upgraded sound system ~ Runs & drives great ...really cool hydraulic trunk ...My loss is your gain ~ enjoy! ~Merry Christmas! The engine alone is worth a LOT of cash...and the stereo (amps, equalizer, subwoofers, crossover, etc) is as good as sound gets. The stereo is A LOT and could rock a nightclub! Feel free to call with any questions/concerns. 714.981.8351 *seller reserves right to end auction at any time. On Dec-03-14 at 22:31:56 PST, seller added the following information: New photos taken today December 3rd...shows the ruined interior. But it is still a good drivable Casddy that will get you fom A to B. Take your dogs to the beach and never worry about them messing up your ride :) Or put a little money into the interior and it's back! The 4 end corners of car a made out of a cheap plastic. They can replaced easily (ordered online) On Dec-04-14 at 13:35:29 PST, seller added the following information: A few have called regarding the car...the car drives fine. Find a 1975 Convertible caddy that drives fine with nice interior and obviously YOU WILL PAY more. If this car still had the interior looking smooth, I'd ask $8-10k. Here's why I think this car is a no-brainer: you could pull out the stereo system and sell it to make back the money you spent on the car. Like I told my wife: "basically, I should advertise this car on the car stereo section, because right now it's like I'm selling a sound system with a free car attached (Or a classic car with a free BIG TIME sound system)." Make no mistake: this sound system could rock a entire huge nightclub. The "trunk-of-funk" vibrates the concrete. For those of you that understand expensive car stereo systems: the louder it can get while keeping solid clarity ~ the more you're going to pay. This was NOT cheap. And it was installed by the best. I will take a video and post it on here soon (if a link is possible) ...funny story: only problem I've ever had with car was when I got pulled over by cops and given a ticket for "disturbing the peace," as "my radio was too loud." Of course I was a idiot for playing it that loud, but we had a full crew in the yacht (caddy) and it's always a party when you're sailing in this thing. OR, give me a call if you just want the car...I can have the stereo system taken out and sell you the car much cheaper. - I know most guys could care less about the stereo...like me nowadays ;)
