I am listing this very solid 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 Rocket 2 Door Hardtop for a good friend of mine. He bought it in August of 1986 and drove it around a few years before storing it away. Years and years went by and it sat in a storage facility until recently he pulled it out to clean up and try to get running, but time has taken its toll and she won't turn over. We believe its stuck and he no longer has the time or interest to go any further. As you can see by the photos it is really a nice car to put some time into and put her back on road where it belongs. He took the brake shoes off at some point so they didn't seize to the drums when stored. Engine is a 372 V8 4 BBL. The fender skirts are with it in the trunk. The chrome is all there and has some pitting as seen in pics. Rear bumper is rusty. The underside is very solid but has some surface rust also as seen. Its been factory undercoated. The color is Mountain Laurel or PINK and looks to have had paint work here and there at some point. As I said she isn't turn key or driveable now but with some time and mechanical work it could be.
