I have a 1988 Ford Bronco II for sale. It's in the midst of a V8 conversion to a 302 / 5L small block ford engine w/ C5 (C4 valve body) transmission and 4 wheel drive w/ lock out hubs. It has the 2” body lift kit installed, to give adequate clearance for engine and transmission. The C4/C5 bell housing has been installed along with the 157 tooth 50 oz. offset balanced flexplate, new torque converter and new starter. Advance Adapter Kit (transmission to transfer case adapter and shaft) has been installed, as well as oil filter adapter w/ remote oil filter, Maverick Grabber Exhaust manifolds. I fabricated simple engine mounts reusing the Bronco II frame portion of the former mounts. I've removed the high pressure ‘in tank’ fuel pump and installed a low pressure remote electric fuel pump. The vehicle was last licensed in 2001 and has been in my garage since then. We've been working on it and around it ever since. The odometer reads 71,xxx miles. Given its condition I believe that to be accurate. The body is in very good condition but it is not without flaws. Glass is all there and all good. Interior is in good condition but not perfect. There are cracks in the vinyl and stains in the carpet. The radio has been removed. Engine has not run for many years, the last time I checked it turned over by hand with breaker bar on balancer bolt. Oil was changed out when dual sump pan was installed. I would plan on complete engine overhaul. (Grill, lower valance, bumper, grill guard) Various Gaskets, complete set less head & valve cover gaskets Factory motor mounts (supposed to fit but required frame drilling, I went another way) Various donor engine parts along with alternate dipsticks and tubes 200.00 deposit within 24 hours of end of auction via paypal.
