Very complete V8 automatic 68 Mustang convertible project car. This car was a 6 cylinder converted to V8. Has the 5 lug spindles and 8” rear from a 68 Mustang. The car does run but it will need a full exhaust and carb work. The motor is a 302 motor from a 1970 mustang along with the c 4 automatic. Has power top and power steering. The floors and inner rocker had been replaced and look to be ok for a driver quality car. The inner rocker rails will need to be finish inside the rear wheels wells. It does have one 67 fender on the driver’s side but does have the parking light included to make it into a 68. Looks to be the original paint and low miles at 81,000. It was last driven in 1981 and was parked inside ever since. The car was in the process of a restoration and the owner lost interest. The power steering has a rebuilt control valve and all new hoses. Looks like the tie rods and linkage are new too. The engine bay has been cleaned and repainted looks very nice, no rust in the top of the inner fender aprons like a lot of mustang have. The doors open and close without issue car does not sag its very very solid car. This car is very restore-able mustang convertible with most of the hard work done already very complete car. With the original paint you can see what you are getting. Will need both rear quarters and trunk drop off replaced. Shipping is the buyer responsibility but I will help in any way possible.
