This is a super clean vintage 1974 Honda MT-250 Elsinore in extremely original condition with 5469 KM It is a Japanese Domestic version, It is different from the US model in a several of ways, It has the Elsinore on the tank and Honda on the side panel (without the US market honda wing). The exhaust does not have a spark U.S.F.S. approved spark arrestor so it dosen't have the "pickle pipe", it has a over speed light on the instruments and all warning labels are in Japanese. It is in incredible shape for a 40 year old bike everything on this bike is original except to make it road ready and safe. The tires have been replaced, it had a slight piston noise when I purchased it, so a new piston was installed, The petcock and carburetor were rebuilt, all with OEM Honda seals and gaskets. Everything else was checked out and It runs perfect. I also installed a larger front sprocket to make it better for the street. It is titled and registered in California. I ride it around a couple times a month, take it to bike shows and it always draws a crowd. I will require a $500 deposit within 48 hrs and Local pickup only. I am in the San Diego area but I am going up the I-5 north of Redding, Ca. around the Thanksgiving holiday so I could work out something. Thanks for looking! I added more photos so you can see the levers, switches, fuel tank, and inside the tank it is super clean-no rust. The rear fender looks like something was spilled on it and there is some old adhesive residue from tape on the back of the seat. I have done some research on this model and not much is out there but the exact same bike is in the Honda Collection Hall In Motegi Japan and they list it as a 1973 Elsinore MT250. It is an old bike so there are a few minor leaks, The hose from the injection oil tank to the motor had hardended and drips a few drops a week and it lets off a nice cloud of 2 stroke smoke when it is cold because they were around a 20-1 ratio back then!
