For sale is a 1951 ford shoebox. Brand new from front to back. Just needs paint and interior finished to be fully restored. It was completely stripped down to bare frame. Frame was painted and re assembled with new or rebuilt parts. New floors, inner and outer rockers were installed on car. All rust repair has been done on the car. Engine: 286 stroker 8BA block, 4 inch mercury crank, bored .1875 over, dome pistons, block relieved, exhaust ported, Isky cam, lifters and springs. Seal power valves, aluminum cam gear, high volume oil pump, rods resized and new bushings, edelbrock cylinder heads, Mallory dual point distributor with pertronix conversion, Edmond's 2x2 intake, with dual 94 carbs, flywheel resurfaced with new ring gear. Transmission: 3 speed overdrive overdrive does not work Rear End: 1956 Ford rebuilt with 3.56 gear ratio Brakes: shoes, drums, hardware, steel lines, rubber lines, master cylinder all 100% new Fuel System: Brand new tank, sending unit, steel lines, offenhauser fuel pump, and a back up electric pump. Cooling System: new speedway water pumps, stainless steel upper hoses, aluminum radiator with electric fans, evans waterless coolant. (good forever) Electrical: all new wiring front to back. Used cloth wire every where you would see it, chrome GM one wire alternator starter solenoid hidden on frame, battery in the trunk, car is completely converted to 12V. Suspension: lowered 4 inches in the rear with drop blocks, 4 inches in front with jamco springs and fat man uprights, all new tie rods, bushings, front end has been aligned Exhaust: Speedway economy headers, dual 1 7/8 pipe all the way out to bumper new windshield and seal, rear window seal, lh door glass, door window felt kits (both doors) Body: All new floor mounts from MAC'S, new floors, inner and outer rockers, rear wheel lips repaired, front fenders patched with new braces, door shaved, molding holes shaved. Most bodywork completed, fairly straight but roof still needs filler and primer. (has minor eyebrows). Entire car was stripped to bare metal. Firewall and inner fenders have been painted with base coat/clear. The firewall was completely shaved, so the car does not have a heater. the inside of the firewall and floors has 2 layers of fat mat heat/sound deaden er which makes it quite pleasurable to drive This car will drive anywhere and everywhere. To answer some questions: The car has a clean open title in my name, It does not have turn signals I don't believe it ever did, I do have the paint codes for the interior parts/dash, There is no reserve highest bidder wins it, I can store the car for a reasonable agreed upon time if it is paid for, I don't wish to trade the car I just want to sell it, Also my starting price is less than I have in the running engine alone. off the top of my head i have at least 10k invested into the car, that is not counting the labor and time.
