Vehicle Detail

This car is rock solid, looks great, sounds great, runs strong, and handles like its on rails. Not your normal mildly modified cruiser, while this car is very streetable it could easily be a full on road course car. The engine is a fast reving high compression built with great throttle response and attention grabbing rumble. You will get thumbs up everywhere you go in this car. Less than 2,000 miles since full restoration, and no track time yet. Everything is tight and done right. Body: Fresh Dupont Paint, new full quarter panels, new floor pans, Maier Racing fiberglass California Special style truck lid and quarter panel extensions (molded in), California Special style quarter panel lower scoops (molded in), fiberglass racing apron with chin spoiler, fiberglass cowl hood with billet aluminum grill in rear opening and Scott Drake premium billet hood pin kit, billet grille upper and matching lower apron grille. Powertrain & Drivetrain: 302 with 11:1 compression (I run a 50:50 mix of 110 & 93 octane), ported small chamber 289 heads with 1.94 intake and 1.64 exhaust valves, 7/16 screw in studs, 1.7 Harland Sharp roller rockers, Lunati bracket master solid flat tappet camshaft, balanced rotating assembly, ARP head and main studs, main girdle with windage, 9 quart Canton road race oil pan, Edelbrock torque intake, and Quick Fuel 750 race carb (alcohol compatible). Mallory procomp 9000 unilite distributor, Mallory ignition module with 6,500 RPM rev limiter, Mallory powermaster coil and 8mm plug wires. March aluminum pulleys. Griffin aluminum radiator Tremec 3550 5-speed transmission, with scatter shield, aluminum flywheel and dual friction clutch. 9" ford posi rear axle with 3.91:1 ratio. Hooker super comp ceramic headers, and pypes 2.5" stainless steel exhaust system with x-pipe. Disc brakes front & rear. Suspension & steering: Everything rebuilt with new bushings, ball joints, etc, performance road course racing springs, tubular upper control arms with Shelby drop, heavy duty front swaybar, and Total Control Products export braces. I also have Total Control Products mone carlo bar and Maier Racing frame ties with x-brace which have not been installed yet. Fuel System: Holley black electric fuel pump, new 7/16 fuel line, pressure regulator, and stainless braided line, new fuel tank and sending unit (entire fuel system is alcohol ready) Electrical: Optima red top battery located in trunk, with emergency kill switch on rear tail light panel, Spal dual electric cooling fans with integral shroud are triggered by thermostat and can be overridden by dash mounted switches. 4 toggle switches located in center dash for Ignition, Fuel, Cooling Fan #1, and Cooling Fan #2. Interior: New seat upholstery (front seats upholstery needs to be installed), new walnut steering wheel with stainless steel 3 spoke with mustang horn button (horn button has been installed but not shown in photos). Needs carpet installed which I have not purchased the carpet kit, but I do have dynamat sound insulation for carpet underlay. Reserve is set below the appraised value for quick sale, as I need to pay for college... someone is going to get a great car.
