Up for sale is an extraordinarily clean and rock solid 1967 Mercury Monterey Convertible. This car runs and drives every bit as good as she looks. The 390 V-8 runs strong, idles smooth and does not leak, smoke , overheat or hesitate while accelerating. The C-6 trans shifts smoothly as it did when she was new. The car starts immediately, everything works as designed. The electric top works great, the top is in fair shape but there is a brand new convertible top and glass rear window that go with the car as well as a car cover. I have not had time to install the top. The tires are brand new, the carpet is new, the seats and rest of the interior is very nice and sound without cracks and tears but does show some signs of age. The dash has some cracks but a new cover is on it's way and will be installed before the car leaves. The undercarriage is extremely clean and also without rust or defects. This is a true California car. Pictures do not do this car justice, it is extremely nice in person. It has no rust anywhere. It did have 2 spots at the lower quarter but have been repared professionally and looks great. Overall this car is beautiful to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere she goes.
