1965 walk-thru, 13 window, Volkswagen bus -- Deluxe. NO RESERVE A rat Here is my summer driver, a 1965 walk-thru deluxe -13 window; it was a local NW farm bus. After a lot of work and adding a lot of parts, including an original upholstery middle seat. I then put some really nice Wagenswest running gear under it, in the rear an adjustable IRS kit with tube built trailing arms, in the front a Wagenswest 4 inch narrowed adjustable needle bearing beam with Babystang disk brakes on 4 inch welded dropped spindles. The Engine is a 1600 single port that runs super but leaks a little oil. Front and rear safari windows. Original bus roof rack. 1.25 inch raised steering box. 3.88 single side case IRS transmission. Flat black rader wheels with a scuffed spokes. All new wheel bearings x-4-corners, new cv axles and master cylinder. Mechanics are sound. All three rows original split window bus seats (rear not shown and are bare springs with frames, including lower kick panel). This bus drives like a dream, and it’s a great start to a great bus.
