Vehicle Detail

I am relisting this vehicle after E-bay removed it for Title misrepresentation. I want to say I am very sorry to those who had bid on that auction, I had no knowledge of the reconstructed title. Having done some research it was explained to me like this...a vehicle deemed a total loss and 10 years or older does not have to go through the same requirements as a newer vehicle, the title stays with the vehicle and when the vehicle is sold the newly issued title will say "Reconstructed" it does not need to be inspected by the DMV ...The upside, it is much easier to register a salvage vehicle over ten years old....The down side, it is also easy for a salvage yard to pull a fast one over on an unsuspecting customer....This truck was advertised as an "easy fix" and "clean title" it was in fact an easy fix and the title I received with the truck was the original from the previous owner signed over to the salvage yard, it was a clean title as stated. Not suspecting anything, when I received the new title in the mail I simply filed it away and didn't take the time to check it "My Bad" Here's a word of advice: when answering a vehicle add on Craigslist save the add in your pc before you go look at the vehicle, if it turns out it was misrepresented you will have a copy of the add as proof So this is my project truck that was purchased 2 years ago with the intent of doing a LS V8 engine swap. The damage on the truck was to the right rear, all superficial no structural damage but there was a good sized dent in the quarter panel.)...at the time a new bed side was not available and a rust free used bed was to far away to be cost effective so I opted to repair it... I spent a considerable amount of time on it with hammer and dolly and in the end only required a very thin coat of plastic to finish it off...( I work at a high end restoration shop)...the aftermarket StepShaver kit was also badly damaged ...The secondary damage was to the front air dam, it had been cut with a saws-all by the tow truck operator so he could get a hook under the truck...I purchased a new fiberglass step-shaver kit and a new urethane air dam...while the bed was being repaired, the underside showed some very light surface corrosion so I removed the bed sandblasted the underside and the frame then painted both with Eastwood rust converter and encapsulator . The cab still had light scratch's and dings but with the main damage repaired I was eager to drive this thing so I put a new set of rims and tires on it replaced the u-joints and carrier bearing, trans mount, engine mounts, muffler and tailpipes, upgraded the front brakes to dual piston installed Belltech 2" dropped spindles and 1 1/2" blocks in the rear, shocks, fuel pump, replaced the leather seats and door panels that were out of a Blazer with black 2003 Pickup interior components, new carpet, replaced the fiberglass Cervanis hood with a new steel Goodmark, new windshield, new tint on side glass, driving lights, clear corner lamps, smoke tinted the taillights, street scene power mirrors, new Access Tonneau Cover I know I must be forgetting something...oh yea... I located a 2009 corvette LS3 engine with only 18000 miles which I promptly sent out to be rebuilt and I bought a reman 4L80E transmission to handle all that power...life has gotten in the way of this engine swap so these have not yet made it into the truck but can be purchased separately... I have lowered my reserve to what I am able to sell it for. Here is a chance for someone wanting a vary nice Extreme to take to the next level or keep as is and enjoy it as I have. This is my 4th S10 and my absolute favorite, it drives awesome and looks sweet going down the road . I have taken it to several car cruise's and it stops everybody in they're tracks as it goes byOn Nov-11-14 at 17:11:10 PST, seller added the following information: The truck is an LS it is loaded with full power options... the engine is stock with a K&N cold air intake...the LS3 engine and 4L80E transmission I have listed on Boston CraigslistOn Nov-11-14 at 17:21:43 PST, seller added the following information: This truck has been titled, registered and insured for over a year. I had no problems or issues registering or insuring it, it has been a great vehicle it runs and drives like new. I hate to see it go !!!On Nov-12-14 at 17:22:55 PST, seller added the following information: has a brand new receiver hitch ( Rollpan Hidden Hitch ) installed last week
