1955 Ford F100 Extremely nice condition. 100% original, custom cab model (rare in 1955). Has stainless trim around rain gutters, also stainless wing windows. Original factory radio and heater. V-8 motor (272) with 3 speed over drive transmission. This truck was the most deluxe pickup with all options you could get in 1955. It has a few minor rust spots, one on the lower rear passenger fender at very bottom, small spot on front passenger fender, one tiny spot under rear window area. Three very small holes on driver side of floor, small spot on right side of hood (see pics). Other then that 100% solid. Truck has never been in any accidents ever. Still has original wood in bed and is in great shape. Also, had a camper shell most of it's life so the bedsides and tailgate are in near perfect shape. Both doors line up perfect and open and shut perfectly. All glass is in excellent condition, both windows roll up and down nice. Gas tank was taken out and cleaned and sealed. The seat has been rebuilt and reupholstered, also has new headliner. Brakes work excellent as does the E-brake also. Truck is still 6-volt and is still in excellent working order. All gauges, lights, turn signals, etc... are also in excellent working order. Motor has had a complete tune up. Plugs, points and wires. Oil change, filter and valve adjustment. Carb has been rebuilt. Runs excellent. Transmission shifts smooth. Mechanical part of overdrive works. May need a new overdrive electronic solenoid. I know almost the entire history of the truck, because I bought it from the daughter of the original owner. As you can see from the pic of the original title and the current registration it is still in the original owners name. The title is from 1958 because the daughter told me they moved 3 years after they bought the truck. This truck is a true, real survivor that has been taken care of it's entire life and is still in excellent original condition. It runs and drives excellent. I probably left out a lot of other details so please feel free to call for more information. I rarely check emails. I would recommend that you come see, inspect and drive the truck so that you can really appreciate it. Truck also still has the original black commercial license plates. I build early Ford's for a living and have owned a lot of them over the years. I can honestly say this is the most original and excellent condition Ford I have ever owned.
