This 1998 Mercury Sable starts up and lot drives. The Carfax report shows 5 previous owners and an accident in 2003. With some repair and TLC this Sable could be a good car for someone. It is loaded with power windows and locks, cassette player, cruise control, and more. The tread depth on the front and rear tires is good to very good.

This vehicle starts right up but has a severe misfire. It also backfires under heavy acceleration. The Service Engine Soon warning light is ON. The key has a broken tab, and does not unlock the trunk. The headlights do not work.

Cosmetic/Body issues: Please see all pictures. It appears this vehicle was repainted at some point in this life, and there is peeling paint on multiple panels. The front headlights are weathered. The driver side front seat is stained and torn, and the steering wheel is worn. The lens is missing from the center roof interior light, and the passenger side rear tail light is cracked. The passenger side body panels are a bit rumpled, possibly due to previous body repairs. There are many dents, dings, chips, and scratches around the car, and we have tried to take good pictures of each trouble area. Please especially see the pictures of the front end to see the damaged areas.
