1982 Honda ATC 125

Up for bid is a very nice, partially restored, Honda ATC110. I recently acquired this ATV as a project as it had been sitting neglected for several years. I work on older bikes for a hobby. At any rate the overall condition of this one wasn't to good. The fuel tank/carburetor system, was in extremely poor condition. The engine compression was low so I torn the top end down and installed a new set of rings along with the gaskets and other associated components. Overall the cylinder was in really good condition, just needed a little honing. The tank was acid cleaned/etched to remove all internal rust, following by neutralizing. This was followed by a complete drying method to remove all moisture traces. The tank was then sealed with the "KBS Coatings 5200 Gold Standard Gas Tank Sealer". Next the external surface of the tank was bead blasted in prep for painting. I then sent the tank to a professional to have the body work and painting done. As you can tell in the photos the tank looks brand new. Misc. Items installed/repaired or replaced: Electrical system gone through, new cap/spark plug, etc. Headlight bulb replaced (handlebar switch contacts cleaned and lubed) Taillight - disassembled, cleaned/tested, bulb replaced Rear plastic mounting brackets bead blasted and repainted Lots of bead blasting and repainting of engine components as part of rebuild. Axle guards bead blasted and repainted Misc rusty fasteners replaced Brakes gone through, cleaned and adjusted Carburetor replaced (Old one beyond repair) Oil changed Starts and runs good. I'm starting the auction at below what I have stuck in it not to mention way to much time and effort. The wife says it need to go, tired of seeing it in the garage, lol. Good luck and happy bidding!
