Vehicle Detail

This is a 1974 911S retrofitted as a Porsche 930 slant nose. Not a Carrera In the past 15 years and with mileage between 93,000 and 122,500, more than $15,000 worth of improvements have been made to the car with receipts to back it up. Here is a run-down: Improvements 1992 - Car repainted Guards Red, originally yellow-$4,000 2002 - Engine overhaul-$9,000; Transmission rebuild-$1,100; Short shift kit-$700; New wheels-$2,500; Tires-$800. Note: New oil cooler, updated chain tensioner kit, Turbo (stronger) valve covers, multi-blade fan. Engine and transmission have approximately 30,000 miles run-time. 2002 boxer seats-$600 2009 - Brake pads, new points and distributor, wiring work, valve adjustment- $1,700 2011 - Front calipers and inner and outer bearings-$600 August, 2014 - New inspection sticker, Four new tires - $700 I have all the actual receipts and willing to share History The car originated in California as a 911S. Sometime in the late 70's or early 80's it was retrofitted. Car sold to a Texan around 1980. In Texas, only driven occasionally for 10 years and just sat for last two of these years. Sold in 1990 making its way to the Boston area. This is where the car remained for approximately 21 years. Sometime after 2011, it was sold three times (I am the third purchaser). I purchased it at public auction held by Grant Miller in Lockhaven, PA. in July 2013. It was part his collection. I placed about 1,000 miles on the car, it passed inspections at no cost other than the inspection fee and new tires in 2014. We changed the oil and filter and new piston rods for the hood. Kept indoors. The best word to describe the car is FUN!!!! Fantastic handling. Reasonable get up and go. Many lookers.
