Original orange exterior & black interior; was AC car, previous owner removed it, not sure why, this is Florida! Nice daily driver, paint was redone 5 years ago, original engine, said to be under 100 k miles by previous owner. A southern car for a long time- so this means minimal RUST. Floor on passenger side shows some superficial surface rust underneath the car, (no welding required) but floor supports are undersealed and show no rust. Inside floor boards under the carpet show none. The orange was redone 5 years ago, at that time rust repair was performed to passenger front foot well, driver side sill and driver side rear wheel arch. The wheel arch repair was performed with a patch from donor car with minimal bondo, (magnet still sticks) hence repair has not "bubbled up" to date, showing testament to a perfect professional repair. Engine - original fuel injected, starts every time, no smoking, knocks or whistles, purrs like a kitten. Car not used too often now hence sale - filled with ethanol free gas! Could use valve cover gasket, weeping slightly, new oil/filter just performed. Transmission - 5 speed with working overdrive - all gears work well, no grinds, clutch (unknown) works well - no slips Body - original panels, repainted 5 years ago, looks great at 5 feet. Undercarriage is clean no evidence of crash damage. Passenger side foot well shows evidence of repair patch. Interior - original black, no tears in seats - front seats were redone in leather very recently new carpet, back seat looks un-used,headliner is good. Only issue with interior is dash top which is cracked and should be replaced. Gages work with exception of odometer, (stopped at 99k)according to previous owner this car was around the 100k mark. Being the fact that this is used as a third car (short shopping trips and weekends) the car is estimated to be somewhere in the 100-110k mark. wheels/tires - original Volvo alloy turbo wheels, tires are brand new. Original P1800 steelies (tires dry rotted) are available with car if required for extra $200. glass - all clean, no cracks or damage. Chrome surrounds shine nicely. Brakes - work well, stops her in straight line, calipers were rebuilt a few years ago. exhaust - replaced within last year - sounds like it has a slight leak to me somewhere though - possibly at header connection. HVAC - heat works, no AC. Compressor kit can be had for around $1200. I am in the process of posting video to youtube shortly, please search orange P1800 shooting brake. This car is not a show queen - she is a daily driver and hence has a few love dings - notably the top of the front bumper has a ding as well as a ding on chrome surround of front grill. The sides are clean, no door dings - I try not to park next to anyone and always hunting that exclusive "end spot " in the parking lot. The two door mirrors were just replaced with OEM units at a cost of $100 each. Immediate needs - AC, dash top, passenger side undercarriage area in front of seat should have surface treated with rust inhibitor and resealed with underseal coating compound - no way serious but I am just picky. Remember this is a 41 year old car! If you are looking at this you obviously know all about these cars, getting very rare in this condition, only made in 1972 & 1973, this makes it much more desirable and valuable than the P1800 coupe made from 1961 to 1973. This could be about the only car you could actually use everyday and have as an appreciating asset - very few cars fall into this category. This one has the added bonus of being that garage queen with a little work or just use her as daily driver. This car is listed at no reserve and will SELL - do not leave till the last minute because I have a price in mind and when it hits that price I will contact that bidder and end auction upon successful receipt of his/her deposit - why do I do this? well because I have tried to sell cars here before only to folks who I cannot get in touch with and waste my time. Underbody seal around that repair is showing signs of superficial surface rust and should be repaired properly - not just spraying undercoat over it, I could have done that already before posting pictures.
