For sale is my 2008 Acura TL with low mileage in excellent condition.  I am moving and sad to say that unfortunately I cannot take it with me.  This is good news for the buyer, however, as I have babied and cared for the car as though I would keep it forever.  After searching for six months for an exceptionally clean and well-maintained TL, I purchased this one in early 2009 with about 12K miles on the clock, from an Acura dealer outside of Chicago.  This was a local trade in from a doctor who purchases a new Acura every year which was clearly very well cared for and showed no signs of wear at all.  2008 was the last year for the GEN 3 body style and in my opinion, the best.  This TL has never been smoked in.  This TL almost completely stock and has not been modified, cut or hacked.  The only aftermarket upgrades include professionally installed professional grade Llumar window (15%), high performance slotted brake rotors and Amsoil full synthetic fluids.  This TL has otherwise received OEM Acura parts.  I have taken great care to assure this TL has received only the best parts, care and service.  For the duration I’ve owned the car it’s been meticulously maintained and cared for as well.  Year-round, once a week it is hand-cleaned inside and out, top to bottom and under the hood with Wizards and 3M professional detailing products.  This includes leather conditioner applied to the seats and vinyl protectant to the dash, doors, etc.  Once a year the car is hand-waxed and rail dust removed with body clay as required.  This TL is always garaged and has been in storage where it saw no use at all for two entire winters I have owned it.  The silver color is timeless, looks great and almost always looks clean (or hides dirt very well).  I’ve run Amsoil 5W-30 synthetic engine oil and ATF transmission fluid from the first day I brought it home.  The engine oil manufacturer’s recommended change intervals are every 12 months or 12K miles, whichever comes first; however, I cut that interval in half and change the oil and filter every six months regardless of mileage, or twice as frequent as recommended.  This is a more expensive maintenance approach, but the engine oil is the lifeblood of any car and worth it to me in the long run since I’d planned on keeping it.  The transmission fluid is changed annually or about every 9K miles.  I record every tank of fuel I’ve put through this TL and it consistently averages around 24 MPG city and 31 MPG highway.  This TL starts every time, runs great and has been an incredibly reliable car.  It’s a Honda product after all and of all the Hondas and Acuras I’ve owned, this has been my favorite for a lot of reasons but especially because it is incredibly reliable, handles very well, is quiet, powerful and very efficient.  Driving at night is a joy with the extremely bright Bi-Xenon HID headlights and fog lights.  Every year I replace the cabin air filter and engine air filter and every two years I replace the engine coolant and power steering fluid.  Every spring and fall I apply a rust inhibitor into the door lower drain holes and when I wash it weekly I always make a point to wash out the wheel wells very thoroughly, especially in the winter.  In July of 2014 I replaced the battery with the most expensive Duralast model available.  Also in July of 2014 I replaced the original brake pads with OEM pads, front and rear.  The brake fluid was completely flushed out, new fluid installed, and the entire brake system was bled and anti-rust high performance slotted brake rotors were installed for additional cooling capacity and performance.  This TL has the only option available, which is the navigation package, but also has an Acura OEM trunk liner as well as Acura OEM color-matched splashguards (which I’ve taken off but have kept and are available upon request).  The Bluetooth hands free linking, voice-activated commands, XM satellite radio, satellite navigation and Bose surround sound make long trips fun.  Acura has received many awards for the simplicity and user-friendliness of their navigation systems, and the Navi system on this TL makes traveling to unfamiliar places stress-free.  This TL has a clear title, which I have in hand and it has never been in any kind of a wreck, fender bender or accident.  The lucky buyer is going to get a great, extremely well-maintained Acura that should last a very long time.  This TL will be available for pickup on Friday November 14, 2014.  Please email with any questions.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
