Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1992 Alfa Romeo 164 L 4-speed automatic transmission Canadian-edition sedan in good condition. With 206K KM's (128K miles) on the odometer, this car has just reached mid-life. She runs great and, with regular maintenance, is likely to run for another decade or two. Features: Nice-sounding, stainless steel aftermarket exhaustPerformance-tuned Bosch Motronic ECU (Squadra-tuning.com)New tiresNew rear strutsNew drive beltsNew water pumpNew timing beltIncludes full-size spareUpgraded stereo with new Kenwood speakers front and back If you're not familiar with this Pininfarina bodied beauty, check the great Wikipedia article on these cars. Search on Alfa Romeo 164. Metric gauges not to your taste? A non-metric instrument panel is available. Passes State of Georgia emissions tests with perfection. On Oct-24-14 at 19:54:18 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: please note that the "mileage" numbers for this car are in kilometers (KMs), not miles. I've had a question about this, as the vehicle history report shows a perfect progression of figures and it appears that the original Canadian owner registered it in Georgia using the literal odometer reading. All entries after that event have been reported factually using the KM-based odometer. (Evidently, the US is not prepared for the Metric system.) FURTHER: This car has a metric instrument cluster...temp is in Celsius, oil pressure is in Bar, speed is in KPH (with little MPH numbers around the edge.)On Nov-01-14 at 14:18:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a couple questions about the heater. I tested it today and it works great. However, the engine thermostat is not...it took quite a while to get up to operating temperature. While this is good in the summer, it is not good in the winter. I have on hand a brand new thermostat with gasket and will include it with the car at no additional cost. Replacing this item is an easy task for anyone with basic automotive repair skills. (If you're wondering why I'm not doing it, Murphy has a Law which applies with working on cars one has for sale. I almost bowed of running it to the grocery store this afternoon!)
