For sale in a very rare 1960 Buick Electra 2 door hard top. This is not a Lasabre. They made just over 4200 of these cars and there are very few 2 door hard tops left. This car runs very well, it shifts good but does leak transmission fluid thru the rear seal. The engine starts immediately and idles smooth, it does not overheat nor leak but it does blow some smoke. The body is in very restorable condition, there are some rust issues on the lower quarters, rockers and a bit on the hood front. The driver floor pan should be replaced. Other than those items listed, the car is solid. It can be driven while restoring with some brake work. The brakes are soft but work, the emergency brake works great. The glass is all intact and in good shape, there is a crack on the drivers side window. The electric windows try to work but don't actually move up and down as is with the electric seat. The body is otherwise very straight. The chrome and trim is very nice and usable. The dash is nearly perfect, the headliner fair. The door panels are decent , the carpet should be replaced. With the car comes new rocker panels and a full set of new Monroe shocks are in the trunk. The 325 hp 455 ci engine is complete. It starts off the pedal as designed and fires right up. This is a project car that has a tremendous amount of potential. When done, they are one of the prettiest fin car out there. I wish I had the time and money to complete this beautiful Buick.
