1962 Lincoln Continental Sedan**Original Engine and Drivetrain** This Lincoln was sold new here in Indianapolis on April 26, 1963 to Mr. Henderson. Holding its Original color scheme, the car has always been here locally in indianapolis. It was enjoyed by three owners. the current owner since 1995. I do have a copy of the old title. This is a complete, solid, numbers-matching car. The car runs and drives, shifts smooth, and brakes work. The power steering seems to be not working correctly. Its easier to steer when driving. When you are parked or moving from the park position its harder to steer. *** NEW VALVE COVER GASKETS ****** NEW SPARK PLUGS ****** NEW WIRES, ROTOR AND CAP ****** FULL TUNE UP ****** TOP END OF THE MOTOR HAS BEEN REBUILT ****** SUPER CLEAN INSIDE ENGINE ****** NEW METAL ****** REBUILT RADIATOR ***RADIATOR HAD A TRANSMISSION LINE BURST. IT LEEKED INTO THE TRANNY. FLUSHED TRANNY 4 TIMES*** NEW VOLTAGE REGULATOR ****** SOLID RUST FREE UNDERCARRIAGE****** Air conditioning is blowing cold but not powerful ******Power seat works******Power locks work******Power windows work******all gauges seemed to be correct and working******exterior and interior lights are working***While the car was painted some years ago, the interior appears largely original and IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE NICEST ORIGINAL INTERIORS. HAS SOME DRY SPOTS AND A LITTLE DISCOLORING ON THE WHITE LEATHER BUT EXTREMELY NICE. THE DASH IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. DASH KNOBS AND CHROME ARE EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT HEADLINER AND CARPET AND DOOR PANELS.IF I HAD TO RATE THIS INTERIOR FROM 10 BEING BEST I WOULD RATE IT A 9 OUT OF 10.EXTERIOR CHROME SHOWS VERY NICE. NO RUST SPOTS. *** BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT AND IS A RUST FREE CAR******ALL DOOR ARE SOLID WITH NO RUST******TRUNK HAS NO RUST HOLES***This is a wonderful car that can be easily refreshed and enjoyed as-is, or easily left alone.
