Vehicle Detail

This is an absolutely gorgeous 1969 Camaro Pro Street 2.0 CLASSIC SHOW CAR. The car has had a complete rotisserie restoration and the bottom is painted to match the top. This car is built as a show but could be raced if you choose to. ENGINE: 800 HPBlock: 454 four bolt main Crank: Steel Stroker Crank 30/30 Over rods and mainsRods: Eagle RodsPistons: TRW Blower Pistons L2453F @ 60 over Compression: 7.3:1 (pump gas)Blower: Brand new Weiand 8:71 under-driven 6LBS boostOil Pump: Billing high volumeHeads: L88 Aluminum 119ccCam: Speed Pro 111% Hydraulic (soft), Crane Gold Roller Rockers, speed pro .527/.533 lift cam,Aftermarket High oil panTiming: MDS 6A0 @ 30 degreesElectric fuel pump496 Big Block Stroker Two Holly 750 CFM double pumpersHooker Comp Headers 2.8 pipes TRANSMISSION: TH-400 3 Speed Auto with 3000 stall converter (drivable). REAR END: Rear End; 9 inch Ford, narrowed, reinforced mosher axles, Richmond 3:50 gears. Detroit Locker SUSPENSION: Pro Touring 2 inch drop suspension with rack and pinion. Classic performance disc brakes 13 inch front 11 inch rear powder coated BODY: The paint shines as it should. It has no fish eye, dust, runs or orange peel. The underside of the body is painted as well. The frame and components are painted in high quality black. There is zero rust. The paint should score 8.5-9 of 10. There are a couple of small chips. There are a couple of very tiny bubbles where the rear quarter panels meet the roof from the original lead body fill. We chose not to disturb it. It is so minor I can't get it to show in a photo. INTERIOR: The car retains the original dash along with the components under it (I.e. Fuse box, wiring and heater box). The main gauge panel has been replaced with a carbon fiber gauge package. The rest of the interior including the carpet, door panels and headliner are new. It has the rear seat in place and the fronts are racing bucket seats with 4 point harnesses. Also exposed and painted is the 10 point roll cage. There is no radio as the space has been filled with the carbon fiber dash. Also the heater core/box is all connected but the controls are not. I have had an intermittent problem with the rear signal lights. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, although the fronts always do. BUILD: Car was found as a roller with 10 point cage and no front clip or interior and was set up for radical racing. Build out included Pro touring handling and looks but with an old school big block and roots blower through the hood. The Camaro received a full rotisserie nut and bolt treatment but all the classic lines are stock. The only body change is the cut in the cowl to let the Weiand blower slip through. CAGE: The cage is a 10 point roll cage that is welded to the frame. It DOES NOT penetrate the front firewall so no cuts have been made. It starts on the floor in the inside the car just behind the firewall. The bars to the rear DO NOT interfere with ingress egress as they are lower that the seat. There are four mounts behind the front seats, a cross bar and a loop. These connect to the top loop that goes around the front and doors. From there it goes through the rear window dash THROUGH THE OLD SPEAKER HOLES and into the trunk. It has four mounts in the trunk with a crossbar. There are no holes cut in the car for the rollcage and it does not interfere with getting in an out (except backseat) This car was recently featured in Hot Rodding Magazine (January 2014) and remains untouched since then. It was shipped in enclosed shipping from Florida in January 2014. It has just more than a 100 miles since resto (just pick up groceries) and has not been raced. It is an absolutely stunning build and it shows. It draws a crowd anywhere! If you are a New York resident you will be required to pay sales tax unless you have the appropriate exemptions. The car is sold as is where is and it is the responsibility of the buyer to preview the vehicle and ship it. I am open to offers but please do not submit an offer without funding in place. I have found a classic car lender at lighstream.com that you might consider if you need financing. Please be sure any financing is in place before bidding. I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF TIME. ALSO ASK ANY QUESTIONS AHEAD OF TIME. Please do not bid and then try to negotiate. This is a serious offer to sell a CLASSIC SHOW CAR and your bid will be considered a contract. If you choose to BUY this car without an inspection preview you have still purchased this car! If you want to make a legit offer text me the offer and if we agree I'll lower the buy it now price to our aggreed on price. The car is for sale locally and hte auction will be cancelled if it sells. I expect you to pay and pick up the car within 7 days of auction ending. Please contact me with any questions and we will respond as quickly as possible. Get ready to own the car of your dreams!
