Restored 25 years ago to exacting standards, this 1929 Ford Model A Pickup Truck looks great and runs smoothly. I have pictures of its ground-up restoration and some history of the vehicle. It spent its early life in Colorado, where a local auto parts dealer found it and brought it back to life. It had the name of a luggage transport company on the door, and is believed to have been used to haul luggage from the train station. It has been garaged since the restoration, and has had only two owners in the past 25 years. There is no rust on the body and everything works as it should. The transmission moves smoothly through the three forward speeds, and into reverse. The engine starts in any weather and idles smoothly. It climbs hills like a mountain goat. I have gone up to 50 MPH in it, but it likes it in the 40s better. Everything works on the truck, including a new "ooogah" horn. I also installed an alternator to replace the generator, so it will charge the battery even at idle. I have kept the old generator in case someone wants to swap it back. The engine number matches the Vin. The truck has a clear New York Title. It is very much fun to own and drive. Looking for a good home for it.
