This 930 was imported to the states and titled in TX in 1982, then went to OK in 1985 and back to TX in 2010. I bought the car sight unseen and shipped it back here to PA in Oct 2011 and have put about 60 miles on it since. Needless to say I don't have the opportunity to drive it much. The car is a beautiful recreation of the 959 Supercar that dominated the worlds supercar titles in the 80's and was the reason for the F40. This car has everything the original had with exact proportions to boot. It is an amazing attention getter. Only 46k original miles although the odometer was replaced not long ago, is consistent with all records I have on the car. The engine had 2 major engine rebuilds over the past 20 years totaling about $15k ea. It is fitted with 8x17 C2 Cup rims Front and 9x17 C2 Cups rims rear. Selling at a low reserve so thenew owner can give the car the attention it deserves. I've owned over 30 air cooled 911's over the past 20 years and this by far gets more attention than any other I've owned both NA and Turbo cars. This 930 was originally sold out of Glockler Porsche in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1981. Helm Glockler was instrumental in the design of the 550 spyder and the success of Porsche's new found racing success. The vehicle then came to the US in 1982 as above.
