1976 Honda GL1000 Naked GoldWing Standard Nice OldWing. 41,445 miles and climbing. Gets a lot of looks. Runs well. A good Base to super restore or Cafe' or just ride like it was intended to be ridden. Its a good Naked Rider, very stable and comfortable even without a windscreen. Not museum quality but a great Rider quality for the money. Has some scuffs and abrasions from an old drop on the right side but saddle bags and tach took the brunt of it. Bags now removed and the Original seat replaced the stepped version. Fuel gage works in the full to near full and near empty to empty ranges, mid range is not indicated. Have had a lower mileage '76 for years that needed carb and tank and brake work. Got lazy and bought this one to reskin and ride. Transfered the tank covers and side covers and tach w/cable only. The tach is slow to respond and needs cleaned and oiled. The turn signals are kooky sounding and annoying but operate. and lastly the coolant reservoir seeps but have another. In fact, have the other GL1000 with only 29,000 miles that needs operating repairs. It had it's vetter equipment removed and is in the package as well. Great bike to join with the Naked Gold Wing Riders. Bike sold as-is with no warranty. But I guarrantee a smile. Will not ship, pick up only.
