You are looking at our 1988 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. It has the 5.7L TPI engine and auto transmission.We have had it for a couple years now and love this car! This car has taken us to many cars shows and weekend trips. Time has come that my fiance would like something that can fit her 2 kids when we go on our weekend trips, etc. It shines nicely, has nice wheels on it, we also upgraded the stereo to a Pioneer CD/DVD flip up screen head unit w/ pioneer speakers front and back as well. Earlier this year (March) we were up outside of Niagara Falls (by Canada) and the transmission started acting up a bit. We decided to carefully continue towards home (south-eastern NY). The transmission got a bit worse outside of Albany so we put the car on a rollback tow truck and rented a car for the rest of the ride. While the car was at the shop getting looked at (new transmission) the car was backed into at the shop. The front right corner of the hood/bumper is slightly cracked and will need to be fixed/replaced. We just agreed it was a good time to sell the car and get something with 4 seats. (She already found an old Buick Rivera Boattail that we're working on getting) The interior is in really good shape- seats are perfect! They were conditioned at least once a month. The a/c and every option on the digital dash etc, as well as all the lights, e-brake, etc, all work The car was repainted years ago before we got it. It looks nice, not a perfect show car but a nice driver. It has a few blemishes here and there. We kept the car in the garage and the top was always down (we didn't take it out in the rain). The top is in ok condition, it keeps the weather out but it's not pretty. See pics. It currently has 136,222 miles on it and runs, just doesn't drive. The inspection is still current. Car is sold as-is. Clean & Clear NY state title for car. No liens, etc. Here are some updated parts and/or work done*New aluminum radiator (full system flush)*New water circulation pump, hoses, etc (at the time of radiator)*New rear shocks*New AcDelco (GM) fuel pump (with new fuel filter)*Full tune up including belt and belt tensioner (yearly) *Synthetic oil changes between 2500 and 3000 miles We are setting this car with a VERY LOW RESERVE as we need the garage space for the new car when it arrives. I was going to fix this vette and keep it but we don;t have the extra garage space anyway. I currently have this car in my enclosed trailer (moved from my open trailer) and can deliver this car depending on the winning bidders location.
