Vehicle Detail

This is a very reliable used Mercedes-Benz 190e 2.6 gasoline powered 6 cylinder engine with an Automatic transmission. The color is the very desirable two tone silver and gray with a tan interior. VIN# WDBDA29DXMF862207 with a CLEAR TITLE, we may need to order a duplicate title because we are having trouble finding the original since we recently moved and the title has not been unpacked yet. The mileage at the time of this listing is 248,643 original miles. This car is driven daily so the milage will reflect its daily usage. This would be a great project car for restoration or customizatioin I consider it my Mercedes Rat Rod! The car had a recent tune up and has a very strong motor. It is in need of repair and restoration but I recently drove it to California from Texas and back and it didn't miss a beat. The car needs paint and minor body work, suspension work, a new muffler, and some interior work. The a/c needs repair as well and the motor leaks a very small bit of oil but does not burn any oil. The car does overheat a bit on a hot day but the electric fans bring the temperature right back down to normal very quickly. The windows do not roll down with the exception of the drivers window and the power seats do not work and the radio and central locking system does not work either. I believe these are easy fixes and may be fuse related. The tires still have good tread left and the brakes are in good shape. The car shifts a bit rough from 1st to 2nd but smooths out as the car warms up. There are no cracks on the top of the dashboard and the sunroof works. The carpet needs to be cleaned as well. This car is a great foundation for a nice rebuild in a very desirable color combination and with the AWESOME 6 cylinder and it can be driven daily while restoring it.The car was recently tagged and inspected in July 2014. I bought this car thinking it would last 6 months tops, that was nearly 8 years ago! This car has been amazing, it will not die! These cars were designed to go 300,000 + miles with no problems so this one probably can go another 5 - 6 years! This car deserves a good home and a new owner with a love for Vintage Mercedes Benz automobiles. This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it! We are selling the car only because we recently moved to an apartment and we don't have room for it anymore otherwise I would hang on to it and have it restored. She has been a pleasure to own and I really hate to get rid of her but she will make a special new owner very happy! I have tried to describe the car to the best of my ability. Please feel free to message me with any questions. The car is to be picked up locally by the new owner ASAP. On Oct-13-14 at 09:53:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the car has a brand new battery, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, and a recent oil change. We have also found the original title and have it ready for the new owner.
