Yes the car has high miles but driving in it you would never know it. It runs and drives well,clutch grabs as it should, shifts through all the gears with no grinds or pops, clutch and brakes are good. Comes on steelies with 90% tread left on the tires. the car is lowered, Just went through NJ state inspection and is good until 8/2016. The check engine light is on, came on last week, I had it scanned at autozone, they said its a lean code and could be a few different things but nothing major, Airbag light is on also. Body is solid with minimal scratches and chips,for some reason the top edge of the driver door was starting to rust because of weather stripping, i removed it and painted it with rust stopping paint, there is no rust anywhere else on the car. paint looks original but is in good shape, not faded anywhere. a couple small dings and a dent in the rocker where someone jacked it up wrong (as pictured) someone plastidipped a stripe on the nose as pictured to cover up some chips. The interior is nice, leather is in good shape with the exception of a tiny hole on the drivers seat (as pictured) its missing the rear headrests which i wouldn't want anyway, they block your view, headliner is starting to come down in the back and the pistons to the trunk need to be changed. All the electronics work, heated seats work, windows and sunroof open and close fast, keyless works, the radio has a remote and thats the only way to operate it, Heat is hot, ac blows cold. I bought this car to have a second fun stick car around, I intended on keeping it and getting a nice set of rims for it but I need the money to fix my work truck so I have to let my toy go. I dont have any service records on it, i bought it from a vw mechanic who said it had been in his family for years, he told me the timing belt was done at 170k . If you are looking for a perfect car, this isnt it, spend more money and get something with low miles, but if you want an mk4 that runs and drives that doesnt cost a fortune this ones for you. this is my car and is titled registered and insured to me. I tried to describe it to the best of my ability, you are free to come see it before you bid. please keep in mind this is an 11 year old used car with over 200k miles, it could last a day or 10 years, its being sold as is where is with no warranties expressed or implied, It comes with 1 remote and a spare key.
