Boss 163322 - Consecutive unit number Produced Feb 13, 1970 with the following options: Exterior Paint - Calypso Corral Paint Trim Scheme - Vinyl and Hi-back bucket seat type Trim Color - Black 4 speed manual close ratio transmission Locker axle Tire size F60 x 15 belted wide oval Shaker Hood Louvered backlite AM radio Tinted Glass complete Tachometer Heavy duty frame Power front disc breaks Colored Key racing mirrors Space saver spare Quick ratio steering Competition suspension Functional front and rear spoiler I have the Full Marti Report, Original window sticker, original warranty card, original owners manual, original financing documents for the car, copies of the three previous owners titles documenting the miles and numerous other documents and pictures of the car. Car was delivered to Laird Motors in Hastings, NE, sold to a gentleman in Dallas, TX, then sold to a gentleman in Hobbs, NM and was purchased by me about 5 years ago and now is in Menomonie, WI. Car has never seen snow to my knowledge and during last three owners ownership, it was stored in temp controlled environment and gently used and well preserved. "Buck" tag is still on car and reads as follows: 0F02G163322 63A 1 718 BA BTRAC BL H-2 Tag on intake manifold reads: 302C 70 7 9L 299B Car runs like a watch! Everything works including the radio! Car has had exhaust headers on it for many, many years, original exhaust manifolds come with the car. Car has a newer electronic distributor in it so that the original dual point distributor could be preserved and it is still with the car and will come with the sale. Car has traction bars on it from original owner, non-factory correct spark plug wires, the braided lines you see in the engine compartment lead to original Steward Warner oil pressure and amp meters that were installed in the car buy the original owner and in 1974 original ZEUS hood locks were installed from local dealership (the ZEUS hood locks were introduced in 1968 on the Shelby mustangs). Otherwise, to my knowledge the car has every correct hose clamp, fastener, etc... that was correct in 1970 and came on/with the Boss 302. Factory markings are still present on the drivers side valve cover! Original tags are still on the car, engine, and rear end. The original rev limiter, washer box, radiator shroud, radiator, alternator, intake, heads, block, carb, shaker, break booster, etc are all present and parts numbers are still very visible! You will not find a more original, correct car on the market today! The original paint I would rate at a 7.5 out of 10, its has some chips in the black painted part of the hood and on the lower front fenders (original owner lived on a gravel road) I purchased this car about 5 years ago from the 3rd owners widow, I have maybe put 500 miles on it, enjoyed it and now its time for someone else to enjoy it and make it part of there car family. If you collect art, coins or cars, you know that things are only original once! These original survivor cars are some of the fastest appreciating cars in the car market. They are only original once and you will look for a long, long time before you will find a "true" original numbers matching, original sheet metal, documented example of a 1970 Boss 302. Reasonable reserve for the car, it will not be revealed so please don't ask. I don't need help selling it, so please no soliciting emails for assistance. Please no tire kickers, I won't waste your time, please don't waste mine! Please have funds available, car and title will not leave until funds are in my bank via wire transfer. Car is being sold as is, where is, no warranties written or implied. Car is available for your visual inspection or you car expert to inspect. Thanks for looking and consider making this TRUE, Correct, and very well documented 1970 Boss 302 part of your family, you will not be disappointed! On Oct-10-14 at 13:46:59 PDT, seller added the following information: If you are interested in bidding on this wonderful example of a 1970 Boss 302 mustang. Feel free to email through eBay and I will attach pictures confirming that this car is 100% numbers matching. With only 3 days left, there is still a TON of Meat left on the bone! Dealers and auction companies are pushing these cars between $99,000. and $129,000, this is an original survivor car with all the paperwork and documentation. A steal at this price! On Oct-12-14 at 18:22:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to clarify that this car did not come with Magnum 500 rims when it was ordered, it originally came with aluminum slot rims and the original owner purchased the Magnum 500 rims a couple years later around 1974 per the documents with the car. It was a $129.00 option in 1970 for the magnum 500 rims. Thanks!
