Rare Vintage 1974 Mercedes Benz 240D Diesel Sedan This is a beautiful vintage 1974 European classic Mercedes Benz 240D diesel 4-door sedan time machine. It is black with cognac brown leather interior. This car was found in a storage facility in Sedona Arizona where it had been stored for close to 30 years. The odometer shows 73K miles. The only thing not original to the car is the wheels which were changed at some point (I do not have the originals). The car runs and drives and everything’s functional but it may need some normal servicing. The AC compressor has been removed to increase power which is common with these models but it is included just not hooked up, everything is there for it but just needs to be serviced. The only thing I have done is minor fluid change and battery. The car would be an easy restore while also being a daily driver. These cars were designed to get over 30 miles a gallon and are even perfect for running on vegetable oil conversion. As you can see it’s in good condition with nice looking original paint with no rust and leather interior is looks very good and clean but the driver seat has a torn seam.
