For consideration is the rarest of the 220 Pontons - The sweeping and graceful coupe. There were only about 2800 made so chances are you wont ever meet another at a stoplight. This car has the inline 6 making 106 hp and is fueled by twin Solex carbs. the transmission is a hydrak 3 "on the tree" - its definitley unique. This particular car is unrestored and wearing its original Red paint with a silver paint on the top. The car is not running but has been properly set up for storage with marvel oil in the cylinders. The engine turns and everything looks to be in order in the engine copartment. The floors and frame on this car are great. but there is rust in the fenders both front and rear. aside from that the doors (which are known to sag) are straight without any sagging and the body is straight as can be. The trunk has a little surface rast but still has some of its original carpeting. The interior is also very promising. The parment leather is original and has a few tears on the driver seat. Needs carpets. Wood is good and all of the glass is great. Youll see the radio is in the trunk with the original tolex. The rear light lenses are also in the trunk with the correct hub caps. This car is very original and ready to be brought back to life. If you are looking for a super cool vintage MB that is nearly as rare as a gullwing 300SL but at a price that mortals can bear this is a great car for you.  *** forgot to add there's a set of white high wall tires for this car and a boot lid (trunk) that has the indent to store the spare on the lid.  This is incredibly rare.
