I am the third owner of this original Thing. Have all three owners names and address. Comes with original keys, dealer ID owner card, manual and two original dealer color catalogs. Also has a original dealer Thing tow bar. I have owned it for 12 years and only used in the summer...comes out in May and goes into storage at the end of this month. Car was bought new in Canada and used as a fun summer car. Car was keyed on both side in a parking lot. First owner had it repainted(no body work). Second owner also used it as a lake summer car with no body work. The Thing is as I bought it with no body work...all original panels. Only Thing I did in 12 years is put a original new top on it(first year), replaced the side window plastic, and alternator. Runs like a swiss watch and everything works. No oil leaks. Has original engine(AC code) with trans. Everything is original inside...seat trim, seat belts and the swiss cheese floor mats. Has the original jack with spare, top covers and plastic top rail covers. Photos will tell it all. All Things rust out the battery box floor area and the main floor areas. Not this one floors are solid with no repairs. As you can see in the photos it is starting to have the first stages of rust in the front and rear side panels on the one side.
