Vehicle Detail
Must Sell – Moving 1982 Mecham Racing MSE (Motor Sports Edition) Trans Am #82-0167 Rough – Runs – Restorable 95,029 miles Clear Ohio Title *Please Note BEFORE Bidding* If you are new to e-bay, that’s great! I enjoy selling to newcomers, however… After recently having to relist a motorcycle due to a zero feedback “winner” that was never heard from again… If you have less than a 10 “positive feedback” score, please simply contact me BEFORE bidding. Otherwise your bid will be cancelled. I treat my e-bay sales & purchases as a contract and expect others to do the same. On to the details... Equipped with Tilt/Cruise/AC/Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Power Hatch Release This car currently has a 1985 front bumper fascia, otherwise is correct for the model year. Mostly complete, and does run, but I lack the facilities and time for a restoration Equipped as stock, 305 4bbl, 3 speed automatic (rebuilt .030 over approximately 10-15K miles ago) Competition cam and Rhodes lifters installed during rebuild (replaced due to the original GM “soft” cam) It does have the correct Koni shocks all around, with the limiter straps in the rear. Mechanical: Not street worthy in current condition Currently needs work on brakes, choke, rear main seal, power steering (leak) Tires are OK - Good - Right rear leaks down occasionally Exterior: Body is fairly solid, there is rusting of the leading edge of the hood, battery tray and also lower quarters directly behind the rear wheels -see pics There are numerous surface spots on the car that have had a white primer over rust mort applied for protection against further oxidation Miscellaneous seals, weather stripping, etc. are age hardened No visible accident damage Interior: Front seats need work. No radio, some speakers are still in place, some loose, but included Needs headliner removal or replacement (fabric has the typical GM droop) Leather steering wheel cover needs replaced/repaired (wheel, hub & horn button are good) Included in the sale: An extra nice dash pad, used but in very good condition - see pics Extra set of armrests/door pulls - see pics New Plug wires/plugs/O2 sensor/oil filter - see pics Do not plan on driving the car away, it will need to be towed or trailered for safety reasons Please ask any and all questions, or for specific pics before bidding I will do my best to answer all asap. Check my feedback, bid with confidence
