1985 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL For sale is a nice piece of mid 1980s luxury. This car new in '85 sold for over $50,000!Clear title in hand!Vehicle runs and drives great. Starts right up, shifts easy, very fun to cruise around town. Would make a great collector car, or a daily driver either one.Has factory driver Airbag and Anti-Lock Brakes.Has the desirable sunroof which works fine.Has heated front and rear seats. Automatic transmission.Central locking system works great (No keyless entry in '85, but use the key to lock/unlock either front door or the trunk and all the other doors and trunk automatically lock/unlock). Trunk is clean and shows little sign of use, and spare tire, jack and accessories are all still there. Paint and emblems look excellent, especially to be a 28 year old car. Radio works fine, and antenna goes up and down as it is supposed to. The car has a button that allows you to choose the length to extend the antenna to. Heat and air seem to work fine.Couldn't get Cruise Control to work. Emergency/Parking brake works well. Has a little wear in seat part of driver's seat (in photos) and a crack in the dash, but other than that interior is in great shape. Vehicle has no rust.
