1998 Vw New Beetle Coupe TDI (Turbo diesel) Positive: The car starts up and runs very smoothy. 10,000 miles ago I had the EGR valve cleaned (the main problem with the engine) So the turbo works fine. Shifts wellClutch is fineNew Front and rear brake pads. Tires in good condition.Power Windows work fine 157,000 miles Negative: The rocker panel on the passenger side is rusted. The Ac Needs a recharge of Freon Passenger power lock sometimes doesn't work. (in that case you must use the key) the head-liner needs to be re-attached in the back seat. I am trying to be as up front and honest about the cars pro's and con's so that the buyer knows exactly what he/she is buying. Good luck!
