Description: Original 1 Family Owned 1966 Pontiac Catalina Convertible 389 2 barrel TH400 Original Engine Transmission Matching Numbers Protecto Plate all 4 original owners manuals plenty of receipts documentation from the 1980's till now Showing 132k miles It Is in need of complete restoration does not run but it does move and roll Grandparents bought this car new in 1966 Has been sitting in a City Urban Barn for a long time The Good: Last 10 15 years stuff was done, restored, fixed, or worked on Transmission was rebuilt(have receipt from shop) All drum breaks bearings Front Rear springs and some other front end parts, back end service Rear Bumper Re Chromed New Catalina side badges and pontiac single letters for the back and new mirror New pontiac metal logos for hood and trunk lid, some other minor parts that are tucked away The chrome was bought new when the car was painted in yellow, car was getting repainted and chrome was bagged n tagged 4 Chrome Crager SS Rims come with those are 15+ years old Original doors fenders quarter panels original doors really good hood and trunk lid great The front floorboards are solid back seat floor boards were patched The trunk area is very good Interior very good dash pad no cracks nice front seat backrest 1 quarter coin sized tear The top is not bad 1 small tear will work with battery lots of little stuff was done to make her run over the years to much to list but allot of receipts All parts that come with are Boxed Bagged and or Tagged The Bad: The car is not running it is in a semi diss assembled state Will need to be pushed or winched on to a trailer, a few boxes most stuff can go in trunk Paint is sanded down has primer spots engine bay diss assembled and engine is unbolted ready to be pulled out, bolts to torque converter out bell housing bolts out The engine was running but its a sludgy one, was running rough making old engine i am tired noise so the motor is original 2 barrel but needs complete engine restoration The frame need patching and or repairing see pictures behind front tires is an area the pontiac convertibles up north are natorious drivers side needs attention pass side has some pin holes other pictures show frame solid in all other areas overall a solid car, but needs lots of attention would be great finished Recap: Original family has owned this since 66, its a convertible, lots of parts bagged n tagged Lots of original documentation Protecto Plate owners manuals needs complete restoration does not run I hope you find this good enough to restore flip or father n son project Any questions i will get back to you asap Canada Southern Ontario I am 5 Minutes from the Peace Bridge 25 Minutes from Rainbow Bridge Toronto I am about an Hour and a Half Away easy Pick Up
