1953 Chevy 150 for sale. The good: - Rebuilt Chevy 350- Turbo 350 Transmission- New Edelbrock carb and air cleaner- New dual master cylinder- New plugs and wires- New clutch fan- '57 Chevy rear end- New drive shaft- Nicely done floor shift- New dual exhaust- Gauges work- New thermostat; never goes above 210 even in traffic- Runs, drives, stops, and starts beautifully- Goes down the road straight at 65mph- Clear, numbers matching title- No cancer on the car anywhere. It's very solid; just some minor surface rust. The bad: - Trans leaks a bit when parked on an incline. I think the rear seal needs to be replaced.- There is a crack between the neck filler and the gas tank, so if you fill it all the way up, it seeps. Needs replacement.- Car needs a new mechanical brake switch or a hydraulic brake switch. The one that's currently installed is off, and needs adjustment.- Due to the brake switch being installed incorrectly, the rear brake lights are constantly on, causing a drain on the battery when the car is off. To get around this I pull the terminals off the battery.- Headlight circuit has a short. Wiring needs to be replaced.- Passenger side front glass has a small crack- Drivers side door handle can be a little finnicky. Mechanism inside door is perfect, but spring inside the actual door lock needs adjustment.- Tires are old and could stand to be replaced Please view the videos below of the car running and driving.
