Vehicle Detail

1964 Ford Falcon, 4dr automatic. I took out the original 170 engine and replaced it with a 200 from a Maverick that had 83,000 miles on it. When I made the swap I replaced all the gaskets and engine bearings to freshen it up. I installed all new brake drums, wheel cylinders, and shoes, starter, newer carburetor. Took out front seat and put in bucket seats from a Taurus. The car runs well but needs a few things to make drivable. The gas tank has holes in it so it will not hold gas to stay running, the exhaust needs hooked up, new master cylinder and brakes bled, newer set of tires put on. There are rust holes and dents in all four fenders, trunk, and drivers door but can be fixed with bondo, a hammer and patch panels that are available. Interior, door panels and headliner needs reapholstered. Also with this car comes the set of four tires, hubcaps, two air breathers, original front seat, new valve cover gasket, and extra automatic transmission. Clear title.I know major stuff works, it will run with a battery and gas poured in the carburetor, the lights, heater, and windshield wipers still work. It does pull itself around the yard. All glass looks good with the exception of the windshield where the guy before me didn't replace the windshield wiper on the driver side. I'm sure there is a lot of little things that will have to be replacedI am the third owner, the first owner was a Dr. that made house calls in this car. With the patina the car has it would make a great rat rod or first car restoration for someone. These four door cars are getting very rare, you see very few of these cars at shows any more. I have had this car for about 15 years and was a daily driver for me. It was a good car and never left me stranded. I always wanted to restore this car and I have spent a fortune in parts and a ton of time I will never recoup. Looking for clean, easy auction. Please be serious when bidding. Email with questions and I will be glad to answer them.
