I purchased this car about two years ago as a project. It was primed ready for paint but the engine was dismantled in the trunk. The interior looked good and everything seemed to be there so I bought it. I took the engine to a local machine shop and they completely rebuilt the engine. New parts: pistons, rings, connecting rod brgs. main brgs. camshaft brgs. gaskets, freeze plugs, oil pump, timing chain and gears, camshaft., lifters, reground crankshaft, reconditioned connecting rods. The cylinder heads were rebuilt to run unleaded gasoline. Then the engine was installed with a new radiator and water pump. The engine now has 4650 miles since it was rebuilt. The car runs and drives good. I had new tires installed and the front-end aligned. The brake system was gone through, new: master cylinder, brake hoses, & brake shoes. The power steering system was redone, new: hoses, cylinder, &. pump were installed, and the control valve rebuilt. The paint shop installed all new rubber seals etc. to the body after the paint. This is a daily driver not a show car, it is tagged till 9/15.
