Up for auction is a 1992 OLDSMOBILE CUSTOM CRUISER STATION WAGON with only 67,083 ORIGINAL MILES. 1992 was the last production year for the OLDS FULL SIZE WAGON. It has the desired 5.7L MOTOR. HIGHLIGHTS: 5.7L/350 V8 that runs excellent. The interior is smoke-free and the Navy Blue Leather seats are in near mint condition, including the rear-facing fold-down 3rd Row Seat. It is LOADED with all the comfort features including power seats, power windows and power exterior mirrors. The A/C was converted to R-134 in Aug. 2012 and blows cold. My research (conducted to obtain classic car registration credentials in NJ) indicated that only 4000 models were produced in 1992 (the 4000 total includes both the 5.0L & the 5.7L engines), making this vehicle now and in the future a desired collectible. HISTORY: I am the 2nd owner. I purchased it from a local NJ dealer in 1995. It has been garaged kept since that time and used only for family vacations. Regular maint. Including oil & filer changes, brakes, coolant, etc. have been done by a local mechanic. A new alternator and starter were installed in 2012 with the A/C conversion. CONDITION REPORT: ENGINE: Runs strong, with no misses or knocking. It runs at proper temperature. The battery is 6 years old and I have always disconnected it for long lay-ups. TRANSMISSION: Performs great. It engages quickly and shifts effortlessly through all the forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. The vehicle has NEVER been used to tow anything, (It has never had a trailer hitch). EXTERIOR: The exterior is in great shape for a vehicle of this age. The exceptions are noted in the Condition description section. Also see photos. INTERIOR: The interior is near-mint condition. The leather seats are beautiful. The large dash has no cracks and the door panels show very minimal wear. The original factory carpeted floor mats are also in great condition. Questions are welcome and I can email additional photos.
