Vehicle Detail
Offered for sale is my parents' custom-ordered 1998 ML 320 Mercedes SUV featuring factory silver exterior paint and long-wearing grey cloth interior that still looks great after 15 years on the road, save for a smallish surface abrasion to the vinyl on the driver's seat. The carpet and headliner are both clean with no major stains or damage. These cars are truly gargantuan inside, with a massive cargo hold that grows to incredible size if one chooses to fold the rear seats down, and accommodates huge hauls. At the same time, they drive much smaller, maintaining a truly car-like feel and confidence-inspiring handling and responsiveness in most conditions, thanks to a well-thought-out drive train, great steering, and a proven all-wheel-drive system. Fuel economy is surprisingly trim for a car of this size. This one owner vehicle has had no accidents in its roughly 184k miles and has been regularly maintained since new and as a result, it still runs like a top! The 320 features the proven and bulletproof 3.2 littre 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission and Mercedes' dependable AWD system. Motor is smooth and responsive, and the transmission shifts smoothly without drama. None of the drivetrain components have ever given any problems, which is to be expected as a result of regular maintenance (mostly at the dealership) and use of premium fuel. Likewise, the windows and electronics in the car all function as they should, including the air-conditioner which blows cold, while the heat blows toasty-warm to blazing hot as needed. Recent repairs include battery replacement, fuel injector replacements, plugs, wires, belts, etc. and the tie-rods and other suspension-wear parts have been replaced. Tires are newer but not brand new, and have plenty of life left before replacement is called for
