Vehicle Detail
Vehicle is being offered for sale with NO RESERVE. The vehicle is being sold “as is – where is”. There is no explicit or implied warranty. Pursuant to Illinois Law excess public property must be sold at public auction to the highest bidder, please do not contact us with offers to “buy it now”. We have clear title in hand which will be handed over to you upon receipt of payment. Bidders with a feedback score of less than 10 will have their bids cancelled - NO EXCEPTIONS – Sorry, past experience shows most never show and never pay, causing us to spend additional taxpayer money to re-list the vehicle. Vehicle is available for inspection at the Litchfield Police Department, 120 East Ryder Street, Litchfield, Illinois 62056 during normal business hours. We are not a car dealer. If you are unsure of the condition you are invited to look at it in person. Do not overspend and then leave negative feedback because the vehicle was less than you expected. Please do not ask questions like, "could it be driven to ‘Point X’?", I don't know. I would recommend a car trailer for any vehicle you are unfamiliar with and will be taking any distance. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Vehicle runs and drives. A/C works. Windshield is cracked. Missing paint and has holes where equipment has been removed. Interior/Exterior is very dirty. Transmission leaks, engine uses some oil. Vehicle was purchased new in 10/01 by the City of Litchfield and used until very recently by the Litchfield Police Department. It is quite tired from years of service as a police vehicle.
