1997 Range Rover 4.6 HSE for sale. Mechanics special for fix up or parts vehicle. This vehicle was brought to West Michigan from Massachusetts on a car hauler a couple months ago. Engine is bad (we believe it has a cracked or slipped cylinder sleeve in the engine block). We don't have time to work on this right now so we're selling it. Here's some more info: THE GOOD: Body and frame are in decent shape considering the age. Seats and carpet are in good shape. The transmission and four wheel drive work well. Nearly new radiator. The heads have been pressure tested and resurfaced (done by NAPA for $160). The aftermarket rims are in decent shape and the tires are nearly new. Rims: 20" Avenue Rims (cost about $200 each new). Tires: 255/50/R20 Falken Ziex S/TZ 05 series (cost about $150 each new). THE BAD: Bad engine as noted above. Paint has some fading, scratches, and a few small dents. The fabric on the A and B pillars is peeling off and looks bad. The head liner in the back is sagging (currently tacked up). CURRENT CONDITION: The upper half of the engine is currently removed as shown in the pictures. If you are interested, I believe there is a used motor for sale in Holland, MI.
