Purchased this car in Texas about 14 years ago. I'm the second owner. This is the second 911 I've owned. My first was silver but when I found this red one I made the change. She drives, shifts and handles great. My divorce is final and I have to let her go so someone else gets the opportunity to enjoy her. She's always been kept in the garage and rarely seen rain, never seen snow. The 83' is known as "bullet-proof" because of the low maintenance requirements. Change the oil and that's about all they need. I did have a mechanic tune her up in 2010 and he did all the adjustments he thought she might need at the time. I had an Alpine sound system installed a couple of years ago so that I could use my phone in the car. The sub that's in the rear isn't the "boom-boom" type but more of the ported type. Sounds nice with all types of music. If you want to use the rear seats it's easily removable. Never had any accidents. The only problems I've seen in her history were emission test related to the original owner in Texas. That's about all I can think of. Good luck bidding. She's an awesome car.
