Vehicle Detail
This is a true1972 Chevelle SS barn find. This Chevelle SS is a one owner car since it was purchased new and it has always been in South Carolina. The car was purchased new in Greenville, SC and was driven until 1986 when it was parked to freshen up the engine. The 350 engine was partially disassembled to do a freshen up. The owner passed away and it sat this way for the last 28 years in a car port . I do have the original matching numbers engine that came in the car..The body is very solid it does have small rust on the lower front passenger fender at the bottom and some in the rear passenger floorboard due to the carpet getting wet and rusting the floor. There is also a small amount of rust around the trunk seal but the trunk pan is solid. It is a factory air car with a off white or tan color interior. The color is Mahave Gold which is still the original paint on the car. The passenger side door and rear quarter have a small amount of filler that covers a scrape that runs down the side but they are still solid.. The front windshield is broke but all the rest of the glass is good. The car still has its factory two piece rims and also has its original hood. The hood is not in great shape. The car overall is very solid but it will need a full restoration. I purchased the car to restore it but have not had time to do it. The car still has its original south carolina title.
