1966 Jeep J 2000 Gladiator This is a solid truck that a restoration was started about 8 years ago but wasn't finished. The cab is virtually rust free with only some minor rust on the cab corners and some surface rust. The front fenders, doors, header panel, core support and hood have no rust. The frame is in good condition and doesn't have any rust issues. The truck comes with two beds and tail gates. The original bed is rusted along the lower body seam. The second bed came from Arizona and only has some light surface rust and some light body damage. All of the trim parts and emblems are included. The engine is a 327 that runs well and has a new coil installed. The starter has been rebuilt. The transmission is a 3 speed manual that shifts fine through all of the gears. The four wheel drive works, I tested both low and high and didn't notice any problems. The battery is old and will need to be replaced. The interior is nice and a new rubber floor covering was installed. The door panels are in good condition. The seat will need to be reupholstered. The fuel tank was cleaned and sealed. The brakes will need work, the pedal has no pressure and goes to the floor. The truck comes with an NOS fuel sending unit, dome light base, drivers side arm rest and cigarette lighter. Another rear bumper that is in great condition is also included. The truck is a great restoration project and all of the part are there to complete it.
